Jeep

So I think I mentioned that the house progress slowed 1 reason school, 2 truck wreak & 3 jeep blowing... here are some pictures of the vehicles.

First one is all of the new or cleaned parts for the Jeep

Progress

In the Master bedroom the sheetrock is almost complete except for 1 wall & the 2 exterior wall we need to insulate, I did a little mudding on Friday..

Kitchen hall and closet to the left are almost complete I also did a little mudding there on Friday I did the little patch work as for taping someone else can have fun with that....

A little more..

Saturday Steve was able to get a little more sheet rocking done. The second bedroom is now closed in with Sheetrock & the other side of that wall is done. A little bit sometimes goes a long way.

And then it stopped

So they were on a roll & then...............
Steve's truck got hit by a stupid guy that ran a red light. A couple weeks later the motor blew in the Jeep.
Some time's other things are more important then a remodel.
When more progress comes I will give you an update.

Some progress!!

Steve & his Dad worked on the Master bedroom this passed Saturday. Framed the closet & installed the resets lighting.

Were still doing great living just in the basement. It's still working for us, some day when its all done it will be nice to spread out a little.

The Final wall is NOW gone.

Steve & I took out the final lath & plaster wall on Saturday. I think the demo is all done now, yeah!

Ok so I was wrong.... there is at least 1 more to go

After talking to Steve I found out that we have at least one more wall to take out.
We now have Almost all the sheetrock done in the living room. We got the final ceiling piece hung yesterday. I will be really nice once it's finished :)

We have eliminated some square footage in the living room to become a closet for the master bedroom. See the new framed wall Steve just put up? Yes that would be the back wall of the new closet.

He is now in progress of demo of the final interior plaster wall still standing.

See Rascal above the door he climbed up the ladder & hopped up there. I watched him do it I just didn't think he would really get above the door.

Thank goodness Steve was there to rescue him I am not sure that I could have balanced that well on the ladder to save us both.
