Kitchen progress

 Steve took out the plaster & this is what he found...........

New walls up & new window seals.

Living room floor

Here is the living room floor after Steve sanded it all down & up the first coat of Polyurethane on.

Mantel finished!!

Finally got all the oak stained, cut, and installed for the mantel.

Crazy delay

As you see Steve has had a delayed.


To catch you up, three weeks ago we had to get a new water heater our three year old, with a twelve year warranty leaked. Lowes was awesome to work with us. That Saturday Steve heard a hissing nose turned the water off & the water meter still moved yep we had to get a new water main.

As for this week, with all the new found water pressure with the new copper line our outdoor sprinklers popped. Yep that's Steve's new task. Steve has had such a great attitude will that these crazy things going on.
As for me I have been a bit stressed out with the whole sha-bang and I have just pretty much watched.

If I get a chance I will add the picture’s from the water main dig.

Living Room progress!!

July 28th primered and ready to paint

July 30th Painting up the crown molding

 We think we have got it!

August 2nd

 Achievement Unlocked - Fireplace installed!! I control fire via remote control - I am king!

Aug 5th

semi-productive day - Got the crown installed, carpet pulled out, fan up, and starting installing the mantle.

  Gotta start sanding the floor for refinishing next....

Aug 7th

Started tiling......... This natural slate is a little tricky

Aug 10th Steve got the upper hearth tiled and grouted today. Natural slate is such a pain to grout!

Projects to refinish....

I am pondering refinishing these to make them look better.

We got these with the house.

So for the time being we might as well use them. I have thought redoing the two peices chocolate brown like the lamp above. Or even white.... Any thoughts?

Bedroom two it's finished!!

Steve finished the second bedroom, check out the closet.

Now on to the Living room.......

Wow what progress

So the one bedroom is pretty much done. Steve is so awesome!!! The picture is kinda lame I hope to get better one's at a later date.

The second bedroom is coming along.

Painting done in Master bedroom now Floor....

Steve finished the painting in the Master Bedroom now he is working on the flooring........
