July 28th primered and ready to paint

 First coat of Red Delicious

 After 4 coats of red............

July 30th Painting up the crown molding

 We think we have got it!

 Gluing up the mantle top

 

August 2nd

 Achievement Unlocked - Fireplace installed!! I control fire via remote control - I am king!

Aug 5th

semi-productive day - Got the crown installed, carpet pulled out, fan up, and starting installing the mantle.

  Gotta start sanding the floor for refinishing next....

Aug 7th

Started tiling......... This natural slate is a little tricky

Aug 10th Steve got the upper hearth tiled and grouted today. Natural slate is such a pain to grout!
